These Eggnog Chai Mini Bundt Cakes are such pretty little Christmas desserts and they’ve been such a hit with my family! My Eggnog Snickerdoodles were such a hit, that I wanted to try using eggnog again this year. Eggnog always reminds me of Christmas Vacation—a classic holiday movie—which is why I love these Eggnog Chai Mini Bundt Cakes.
These cookies are dedicated to my younger sister, Lauren (a.k.a. The Troublemaker). Every now and then she will bluntly ask for a care package of baked goods. Although I love baking for my friends and family, my sister lives in L.A. so my baking options are limited. I can’t ship anything that that will lose form or be deemed suspicious. Therefore, my go-to baked good is the cookie. Every time I ask my sister what she wants me to send, her answer is some variation of, “Something bomb that’s not too chocolate-y and tastes good with coffee.” Oh, and she’s also allergic to nuts. The near absence of chocolate and elimination of nuts automatically cuts my cookie options in half. So when my sister asked for another care package last week, I combined two of my sister’s favorite ingredients into one cookie: bourbon and toffee. I adapted my cookies from the Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe on Sally’s Baking Addiction—a recipe I love and highly recommend.
It hasn’t quite reached sweater weather over here in my pocket of Southern California, it’s in the 100’s today! Every time I see my Chicago friends posting adorable photos of fall outfits and warms cups of coffee and I feel a little bit sad. But I will somehow have to find a way to push forward,
Believe me when I tell you: These Easy Strawberry Cookies are the perfect summer treat. These Easy Strawberry Cookies have a fruity, salty-sweet taste that is crazy addictive. Every year, I think I’ve discovered the best summer cookie, but this one might be the all-time champ. There’s something to be said about a good summer cookie
There’s no greater summer joy than ice cream in a cone, am I right? That’s why I’m crazy about this Easy No-churn Mango Strawberry Swirl Ice Cream! Making my own ice cream is the best because it’s the closest I’ve come to achieving my childhood dream of becoming an ice cream taste tester.
Raise your hand if you love muffins! Admittedly, I usually reach for a doughnut over a muffin, but not when it comes to these Banana Matcha Swirl Muffins. I always buy bananas for smoothies, but every now and then I have some over-ripe bananas lying around and I need to come up with creative ways
Summer parties are my fave and you better believe I’ll be whipping up these Easy Raspberry and Pistachio Cream Puff Pastry Cups all summer long. Eating and drinking in the sunshine with friends and family? What’s not to love? But the trick with summer entertaining is to avoid making your house even warmer when you’re
It’s been pretty hot here in Chicago, so naturally, I’ve got ice cream on my mind. Last week it was all about my Baskin-Robbins-inspired Jamoca Almond Fudge Cupcakes, and this week I’m throwing it back to my two favorite summer fruits: strawberries and lychee. These Creamy Strawberry Lychee Popsicles are a cinch to make and taste better
